Want to stay in a vacation home on the Sonoma Coast? Bodega Bay and Beyond gives you that opportunity. They have places in and around Bodega Bay and north to Jenner. Check to learn about their early 2008 weekend and monthly specials that can make a visit very affordable.

Plan to give yourself plenty of time to explore this fascinating part of Sonoma Country. You can enjoy whale-watching, kayaking, fishing or simply walking on the beach. Another recommendation is located just fifteen minutes from Bodega Bay. It’s the River’s End Restaurant and Inn in Jenner which was built in 1927 as an inn and restaurant for loggers. Perched on a bluff overlooking the Russian River, the view is breathtaking.

I love the Sonoma Coast this time of year. And you will as well. Bodega Bay makes for a great getaway destination. Golfers have their choice of two courses. It’s a hiker’s paradise. There’s horseback riding.

I love the Sonoma Coast this time of year. And you will as well. Bodega Bay makes for a great getaway destination. Golfers have their choice of two courses. It’s a hiker’s paradise. There’s horseback riding.

Bodega Bay also boasts a number of antique shops and art galleries. Of course, this time of year, it’s the perfect spot for whale-watching and in Bodega Bay; you’ve got your choice of sport fishing and whale watching charters. One of our favorite places to stay is the Inn at the Tides. The rooms are spacious and well-app pointed and offer sweeping views of the dramatic coast. Also, their Bay View Restaurant is noted for its winemaker dinner series. Bodega Bay is so much fun; I’m surprised the whales don’t stay overnight.

The dramatic Sonoma Coast is a wonderful place to visit anytime. This particular time of year, the art galleries, shops, restaurant, wineries and lodgings of Bodega Bay, Gualala, Jenner and the other coastal villages are all caught up in the Holiday spirit.

There are great places to stay. For example, the Inn at the Tides. Great views, a splendid restaurant, and bring your golf clubs as they are just five minutes away from Bodega Harbor Golf Links. Another terrific place that is planning a sumptuous Thanksgiving is Sonoma Coast Villa and Spa. In December, stay three nights there and the fourth is free.

Sonoma Country is dotted with wonderful wineries. A couple to visit are Seghesio Family Vineyards in Healdsburg where they invite you to try their Family Table experience. And you can taste an award-winning sangiovese at D’Argenzio Winery in the Sonoma Valley
