Timing a Sonoma Country getaway with an event doubles the fun. A perfect example is a party aptly named “Wine Country Chefs of Tomorrow…Take Flight.” It’s on Sunday, March 11th at the Vintner’s Inn Events Center in Santa Rosa. This is the 7th annual fundraiser of the Sonoma County Lodging Association. It’s an evening of wine, food and live and silent auctions of overnight destinations, dinners and wines. The theme is built on the debut of Horizon Air Service to Sonoma Country and features the talents of youngsters in the high school culinary arts programs who partner with some of the best chefs around. With all sorts of lodging nearby, make it part of a great Sonoma Country weekend getaway.
